While we also have the some of the best sources of Eucalyptus and Teak, we highly recommend Acacia Mangium for outdoor furniture. Why?

It is one of the major fast growing species used in the plantation forestry programs throughout Asia and the pacific which sustain commercial supply of the tree products while reducing pressure on natural forest ecosystems.

Acacia Mangium is a hardwood, which possess similar appearance to Teak (see picture) and is a very durable timber that suits the harsh adverse weather conditions.

No, that's normal. Weather conditions affect the moisture content of the teak, which sometimes causes small fissures in the end grain of the wood. They will most likely disappear with furthered weather variations. Natural cracks will not affect the life span or the use of your furniture.

The performance and durability of teak furniture is not affected by year-round use, but any furniture left outside in the harsh winter months is sure to get dirty. While you can keep your teak furniture outside year round, we suggest that our customers store their furniture during the winter in a garage or shed. Note, though that moving your furniture from your patio into a heated storage space may cause damage to your furniture because of rapid changes in temperature and humidity. If you choose to leave your furniture outside, remedy winter wear with a mild cleaner and gentle brush.

Ayo has its own design house. However, Ayo also encourages external designers to contact us with their designs and discuss how we may be able to co-operate. The designs that we accept must be:
